I was in the market for a larger camera bag in January 2025 and purchased the The Jenessa Full Size Camera Backpack. I work a lot of large and small events and need space for multiple camera bodies, lenses, video gear, accessories, etc. It holds a lot of gear and I love that. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the side exterior pockets feel like they're for show. There's nowhere for me to stick a water bottle. I'm someone who likes to stay really hydrated and it's a bummer that those side pockets don't stretch. Sometimes I'm on the go and need to carry my camera bag while I'm photographing or filming individual clients and need my hands free for my gear, leaving no place to secure my water bottle. Also the larger zipper pocket likes to stick.
I love this bag but the water bottle side pouches are TINY. I didn’t think to check before ordering so I was pretty shocked when the bag arrived, perfect in every way except for that. I can’t fit anything bigger than what’s pictured, and that was such a squeeze that I’m worried about it exploding. I use an Owala and that definitely can’t fit. I’m surprised that water bottle storage wasn’t taken more into consideration since photographers need to stay hydrated too!
The customer service at this company is top-notch! They were fair, fast and efficient. The product itself is beyond gorgeous. The craftsmanship is second to none. I am going to enjoy this bag for years to come!
Oh my gosh I am in love with my kindly camera bags- I exclusively use my Fanny strap for photo sessions and decided to get the bag to match. Besides being so pretty, the quality and feel of the leather is unmatched- and it holds SO much of my gear. There are so many secret spots to store items and the front pockets are perfect for smaller flashes!

I’ve been searching for the perfect camera bag for years that is not only durable and functional, but also beautiful. This bag is all three! It has so much space inside and it feels like everything is well protected. I love that I can throw my laptop in my bag too. Well worth the purchase!
When I say I’m in love….IM IN LOVE!! The quality of this bag is insane. The zippers are heavy duty. The straps are thick and don’t slide easily, so they stay in place. The inside compartment where your camera goes it’s the most buttery soft fabric, and the padding is high quality. The Velcro on the padding is heavy duty so they don’t move around easy and the extra straps make sure the camera body/etc. stays put! I love that this bag is big enough to hold ALL THE THINGS! I love that I’m able to fit my laptop/iPad in my bag. There’s also a spot on the back to put your backpack through a luggage handle to make traveling photography so much easier. The two front pockets have magnets clasps and those are great quality too! Easy to get into but also don’t pop open too easily. And I haven’t even gotten to how freaking beautiful this bag is. I’m in love with the color, it’ll go with anything I decide to wear while shooting, Super casual or more dressed up. I absolutely would buy from this company again.
I spent over two months researching literally every camera backpack out there! Nothing else compared to the Janessa by Kindly. So even though It had not yet launched, I waited another couple of months for the Janessa to be released because I knew it would be the perfect one! I’m happy to report that it is even more beautiful, well-made, and functional than I expected. The size is very comfortable & cute to wear yet holds so much. Even if I pack it with a lot of gear the weight of my equipment does nothing to interfere with its structure or ergonomics. I’m so excited that I can easily fit even my tripod in it! Yay! I don’t know which is better-how attractive it is or how well designed and made it is! It’s literally the best of both! And while I was waiting for it to lunch I had no idea what it was going to cost, so I was actually pleasantly surprised at its price compared to others that I had researched. For this level of a bag I think it’s priced extremely well. Worth every penny and actually even more! I’m so in love, thank you kindly!
I Absolutely love this bag! I have been trying to buy a camera bag for two years and never found anything that I have liked. As soon as I saw this bag online I decided I needed to have it and it has met all my expectations. I can fit my laptop, my camera gear, and much more in it. But it’s still stylish and classy. I love it, and I’ve already had so many compliments.
I've been using a camera bag that was gifted to me when I was a teenager. I had an emotional attachment to it but it is no longer functional for the amount of equipment I carry. I've been looking for an upgrade for 2 years now and haven't been willing to invest in an upgrade until it was large enough, safe for the amount equipment, and aesthetically on brand (seems silly but true). The Jenessa is all of the above! When it arrived I was impressed with the quality, and quickly switched over my gear before my evening session. HOLY WOW! I have room leftover. Mind you I carry 6 lenses, 1 body, and 2 lights in the main part of the bag. There are so many other compartments I haven't even touched yet because of how roomy this bag it. 1000 of 10 recommend investing in this bag. You deserve it!
I absolutely love this bag! I couldn’t wait to put my gear in and give it a go! It fits everything beautifully and I have space to spare. Perfect for shoots or even for travel. I do wish the side pockets would fit a water bottle but they’re a bit too slim.
I love this bag especially for traveling to shoot weddings. It fits my photography gear AND my MacBook Pro with room to spare!
It’s a MUST for anyone who travels with photography gear and a laptop. I love all the pockets and the soft lining. I had plenty of room to bring my wallet and chapstick, Kleenex’s, Tylenol, cords, hand sanitizer, battery charger, extra batteries, memory cards & more.
I ran out of strength before I ran out of space!
The inserts can be removed if you wanted to use it for something besides camera gear.
One suggestion for future versions would be to add a mini pocket specifically for memory cards.
I highly recommend.
The Jenessa is a 10/10. The design is both beautiful and functional. It’s the perfect oversized backpack- it easily fits all of my camera gear AND laptop with room to spare, but doesn’t look or feel too bulky. The quality is impressive and it really shows in the details -smooth zippers, beautiful finish on the leather and all pockets and compartments fully lined in soft protective fabric, plus the straps are comfortable. I’d definitely recommend for typical shoots as well as for travel.
My bag is definitely more organized and so much lighter load now compared to what I had for years. I’d so excited to lug it around on long wedding days!

I love it! It’s so big and fits everything I need for a wedding day. For reference I carry two flashed two r6s, a 50 1.2, 35 1.4, 28-70, and it also fits my harness and jbl speaker. If you’re debating this over the kamrette and need more space just get this one!!! My zipper broke on mine bc it just couldn’t hold my equipment anymore.
