Honest Review: The good and bad. Personally I have had an overall good experience with this bag, but for the price I expected better, and as a full-time professional, there are some flaws that cannot be overlooked. First, the good: The whole thing is gorgeous. I got the cognac leather and it fits my style so well as a person and professional. Secondly, moving my cameras from my shoulder harness to my hips has truly saved me a lot of the back pain I was experiencing. I will never go back to a dual shoulder harness. The fanny pack part is structured well and holds a LOT - I put a whole lens and flash in there. Overall so far it has been a solid bag and I feel the construction of the leather parts of the belt and bag are good as well as the hooks you hang the cameras on. The bad: The main buckle is cheap plastic and feels like it could break at any time. The first time I put it on I thought I was going to break the buckle. Too "fix" this, Kindly both added a 2nd, very tiny, also plastic 2nd buckle on nylon cord that hides behind the main buckle as a little fail-safe, AND sent a small brown leather belt-buckle type strap to wrap around the main belt buckle and ensure it never snaps open. This technically works but isn't very convenient, looks awkward, and just feels like a band-aid because they realized their main belt buckle is not reliable. This worries me but I'll just continue to baby it and use the fail-safe backups. Secondly, the belt slowly loosens over time. Over the course of a wedding, I have to re-adjust the main belt 2-3 times as it slowly starts to loosen and ride lower on my hips. This isn't as bad as the buckle thing, but again for the price it would be nice if it stayed in place a little better. Finally, as others have said, the rubber paddings on the metal base adapters for the cameras are cheaply adhered and start coming off quickly. I have more gorilla glue and will just firmly re-attach these, but it would be nice if they were just well-attached in the first place. So far in general my experience has been positive. The bag is beautiful, well-designed, and has truly saved my back from shoulder harness pain. But the hardware on the buckle to ensure cameras do not ever fall must be improved. That insecurity of wondering if my belt might accidentally break outweighs any aesthetic value, and reading other reviews from others who have had the buckle break confirms my fears. But I already own the bag so I will keep using it and really baby the buckle/keep an eye on it, and use the buckle reinforcements for now. I hope Kindly improves the buckle in a 2.0 version of the bag.

I love the pouch, but everything else feels as though it maybe wasnt fully thought through. It is so pretty, but not functional for a full time wedding photographer. The straps dont stay tight, the metal pieces that attach to the camera get loose every few steps while walking - i have to re-tighten them a ton, i think making the metal pieces flat causes this issue because it turns with the weight of a camera. I have been using this since April 2026 and was hoping to love it. Wishing i had gone with the other holster I had been considering.

This is my first purchase from your company, and while I really do love the Kindly Dual Camera Holster, I have to be honest about one major issue: the squeaking is BAD. I carry both of my Canon cameras on my hips, and the friction between the plates and the clips causes an incredibly loud squeaking sound every time I walk. I mean constant, nonstop squeaking all day long. It’s honestly embarrassing, especially when I’m working weddings and trying to move around quietly and professionally. I paid $295 for this system, so I really did expect a much higher level of quality and definitely did not expect to be squeaking everywhere I go. The actual design and functionality of the holster are great, but this issue is so significant that it really takes away from the experience. I’m hoping there’s a fix or solution for this, because I genuinely want to love this product. But for $295, I don’t think a customer should have to just accept a camera holster that squeaks loudly every time they walk.

I unfortunately wanted to love my bag, I got the Kindly Dual Camera Holster, and in the middle of a wedding the bag fell to the ground breaking both of my cameras, I had to send them for repair having to pay $400 for each camera. I would not recommend this specific bag at all if you really care about your equipment. Yes they refunded me the money, but I still had to pay hundreds to fix my cameras. I dont usually do bad reviews but I honestly wouldn’t want this to happen to another photographer.

Hello! So I do love the idea of this bag and belt. But it was poorly made. I have used for maybe 8 weddings and the buckle had come undone at least 4 times ( the buckle plastic has warped ) this is absolutely not for professionals using if this is going to happen when putting professional cameras ( mind you I do only put on very light film cameras because I do not like pressure on my hips and it STILL has warped the plastic after just 8 weddings very very disappointed !!!

I purchased the Kindly Dual Camera Holster in April, and it’s now only August. As a full-time wedding photographer, my gear gets regular use, but I expected much better durability for the price. The biggest issue is the camera plate. The black rubber grip that’s supposed to help secure the camera has completely peeled off along with the glue. Without that grip, the plate no longer provides enough support or friction, so I can’t confidently hook my cameras onto the holster because they don’t feel secure. The holster itself is a great concept, but the durability of the plate has been disappointing. For a product marketed to professional photographers, I expected it to hold up much longer than just a few months of normal use. I hope the company improves the quality of this part or offers a more durable replacement.
